About us
We adhere to strict health standards and screenings of our breeding cats. Our breeding cats have all been genetically tested to be DNA negative for SMA, PKDef, and the one mutation known to cause HCM. Our breeding cats also receive regular echocardiograms by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist to rule out HCM. We only breed healthy cats who have been screened to be free of known health issues identified within the Maine Coons population.

TICA is also the only registry in the cat fancy that continues to have steady growth in our number of registrations around the world, and we continue to grow in the number of members, clients and catteries on every continent. Our cats and cattery at Aspen Maine Coons are registered with TICA.
We have enjoyed not only breeding and selling our cats but we have become successful in the TICA cat shows. Cat shows are so important to protect the characteristics and integrity of the breed. We are passionate about selling the highest quality cats possible. What we have found to be the most rewarding part of our cattery is that we are changing lives with our cats. Aspen Maine Coons are changing families’ lives! We have Aspen Maine Coons that are official therapy cats. Raising these kittens is truly a gift to us that we in turn give to our clients!
